Like the other major gods of Semnavoldt, Theulfor is rooted in prehistoric elven traditions, although his aspect has changed over time, and most significantly with the coming of Gearmorgian culture, starting in the year 582. He currently enjoys strong regard from a notable portion of the population, and his faithful claim that he has considerably blessed the city with the newly formed Regimentia, a military police force which secures the borders of the city as well as patrols the streets of the affluent districts. Rumors of actions by the Regimentia against the orc incursions at Smolt Hill have begun to circulate in all districts. In addition, the Disciples and Guards of Hector have become uneasy in recent months with the ascent of this new standing army, which most feel certain will be used to repress the self-determination of the southwest districts.
Theulfor is a god of war, death, and justice. His priests submit to strict disciplines and combat training, and can often be found among or even leading contingents of the Regimentia, armored in scale mail, brigandine, chain mail, or even plate mail. They favor battle axes or sometimes long swords and shields. They are known to commonly have the power to incite beserker rage.
